Obituary

Brian Coble lost his fight with cancer on November 21, 2018. He was with his family, at home, as he peacefully took his last breath. He left earth to enter his heavenly home, where he heard his Savior say, “Well done.”

Brian was born on August 25th, 1962 in Baldwin Park, CA to Jerry Coble and Kathryn (Pfrommer) Taylor.  He graduated in 1980 from Arroyo High School in El Monte, CA. He attended Citrus College in Azusa, CA. He met his wife Deena Hartman in 1990 and they married on October 9, 1993. They are blessed with 2 daughters, Hailey (23), Savannah (20) and a son, Caleb (18).

Brian loved the Lord, his family, and his many friends. He was passionate about the outdoors, which began early in his childhood with camping trips with his dad and brothers. His love for gardening, hiking, camping, kayaking, and nature were enriched by the family and friends he was able to share it with. Brian’s passion for the outdoors was only eclipsed by his love of food. His ability to throw together a batch of salsa was unrivaled. His love of the Lord was displayed by his involvement at his church, The Bridge Fellowship. He was on the Leadership Team at his church, as well as one of the lifegroup leaders for his men’s group. He spent countless hours serving and ministering to others and showing them the love of Jesus.

Brian is survived by his wife, Deena, his 3 children Hailey, Savannah, and Caleb, his mother Kathryn, his father Jerry, his brothers Duane, Mark, and Glenn and by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A private family burial will be conducted in the nature preserve at Larkspur Conservation at Taylor Hollow. There will be a public Celebration of Life service on December 9th, 4:00pm at The Bridge Fellowship (5066 Lebanon Road, Lebanon, TN 37087; 615.547.2739).

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations in Brian’s honor be made to Sherry’s Run (a local charitable foundation that supports cancer patients and their families). This organization has blessed the Coble family tremendously. You can make donations at SherrysRun.org (choose the donate option) or you can mail donations to Sherry’s Run, P.O. Box 8, Lebanon, TN 37088; 615.758.4061.
