Obituary

Hannah Marie Price passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021. She was 25 years old. She was born on September 7, 1996 in Lexington, North Carolina. As a little girl Hannah was excited to explore and experience everything in life! Her big brown eyes were always wide with excitement. Hannah was happiest when she was driving across the country going to work on farms and connecting to nature. She worked on organic farms through World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF) which promotes a cultural and educational exchange, as well as building a global community conscious of ecological farming and sustainability practices. Hannah was also an artist. She enjoyed painting, drawing & making weavings from things she found in nature. She also liked hiking to waterfalls. Hannah was a kind and caring soul with a pure heart, and she was the truest definition of a free spirit. She touched so many lives during her time on this earth, and she will be missed dearly.

Hannah was preceded in death by her father Randall Scott Price, grandfather Wayne E. Gotreau, and grandmother Sandra Daughtry. She is survived by her mother Deanna Daughtry, stepfather Chris Daughtry, siblings Jane Barber of Houston, TX, Rosa Ruff of Nashville,TN, and Adalynn and Noah Daughtry, Nashville, TN, grandparents Donna Gotreau of Franklin, Tennessee, Judy and Ron Worthington of Welcome, North Carolina, James Kenneth Daughtry (Pete) from Palmyra, VA, and Mike Price of Nacogdoches, TX, son Liam Christopher Daughtry, who was adopted by Chris and Deanna, and daughter Lilly Marie Murphy. Hannah is also survived by a host of loving extended family and friends. Hannah was laid to rest with a private ceremony at Larkspur Conservation at Taylor Hollow. Spring Hill Funeral Home was entrusted with Hannah’s final care.
