Obituary

Carol B. Howard, age 77 of Gallatin, TN and formerly of Rhode Island, passed away peacefully November 30, 2021 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Carol was born in Plainfield, New Jersey on June 21, 1944 to the late George William Bainton, Jr. and the late Marjorie W. Bainton. She is survived by her daughter, Christine Marjorie Howard Grace (Robert); grandchildren, Owen Oliver Grace and Rosalie Robin Grace; and brother, George William Bainton, III. Carol was born in New Jersey and raised throughout the Northeast; she attended both Rutgers University and Temple University; she lived in East Greenwich, Rhode Island for many years; and was a longtime librarian for La Salle Academy. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Daughter, and friend; she will be deeply missed. Carol will be laid to rest at Larkspur Conservation, Tennessee's first conservation natural burial cemetery located in Sumner County, Tennessee.
